Chase Beazer
Designer & General Contractor
Chase Beazer is the founder of Usonia Design Build and a residential designer with a background in both architecture and the building trades. He holds a Master of Architecture from Arizona State University, along with an undergraduate degree in Architectural Studies and a minor in Construction Administration.
Before founding Usonia, Chase worked in cabinetry, tile, painting, commercial construction, and residential remodeling. He later gained professional experience with an award-winning architecture firm. Since starting Usonia, Chase has completed more than 200 home designs for homeowners, builders, and developers throughout Arizona.
He specializes in floor plans with natural flow, minimal wasted space, and a strong connection to how people actually live. On every project he stays close to the work: anticipating problems early, solving them before they become expensive, and making sure the finished home matches the intent behind the first sketch.
Outside of work, Chase enjoys running, mountain biking, traveling, and following Formula 1.
Jackson Beazer
Operations & Site Management
Jackson Beazer leads operations and site management at Usonia Design Build, keeping complex custom home projects organized from permitting through punch list. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Analytics from Arizona State University.
Before joining Usonia, Jackson built his career in data analytics and business strategy, with work that ranged from marketing analytics to broader company problem-solving. What carried over was less about tools than judgment: identifying issues early and choosing the right path when the answer was not obvious. He came to Usonia to focus on tangible work, homes that matter to real families, with the operational discipline that complex custom projects demand.
Clients work directly with both Jackson and Chase throughout every project. Jackson stays close to the work, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, handling materials and inspections, and making sure everyone knows what happens next. He specializes in anticipating problems before they affect the timeline, communicating clearly, and building processes so details do not slip through the cracks.
Outside of work, Jackson lives with his wife and their four sons. He enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and trail running. He also loves cooking, movies, music, games, and Phoenix Suns basketball.
Usonia: an American idea about home.
In the 1930s, Frank Lloyd Wright coined Usonia as a name for his vision of American residential architecture: practical, democratic, and rooted in the landscape rather than borrowed from Europe. His Usonian houses were designed around how families actually live, with open plans, strong indoor-outdoor connection, and forms shaped by the site instead of a fixed style.
Chase chose the name because that philosophy matches how he works. We are not building Wright reproductions. What carries over is how he thought about a home: start with the land, design for the people who will live there, and build with materials honestly. That instinct shapes every project we take on.
In Prescott, that means starting with the land. Ponderosa forest, granite ridgelines, slope, orientation, and long mountain views set the terms before a floor plan does. We design for the site, the light, and the family who will live there, not a template imported from somewhere else. A Usonia home should feel like it belongs on its lot.
Founded in 2019.
Since 2019, Usonia has grown from a solo practice into a firm building premium custom homes in northern Arizona. Chase has completed more than 200 home designs for homeowners, builders, and developers across the state. Built work is concentrated in Prescott and the surrounding communities, mostly custom residences and spec homes in the $2M-$3M range.
We plan to stay focused on the Prescott area and keep raising the bar on what we build. The goal is not volume. We want each home and each client to get the attention a project at this level deserves, without growing past the point where that becomes hard to deliver.
Our studio is at Lakeside Village, near Willow Lake. Most of our work is in Prescott, Prescott Valley, and surrounding communities.
